La Famiglia: Feature on Joey Potts at the Warhol Museum…
August 5th, 2008 escape76In case you weren’t aware, everyone in the crew here are established and completely, ridiculously skilled artists. A few years ago, main FWX banger Joey Potts did a custom Converse Weapon shoe for the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh (USA). (Yes, that Warhol.) Detroit-based magazine La Famiglia just did a short piece about the shoes and about Joey; you can read it online and see more photos here.
As always, Joey brings more heat than most can handle. Don’t worry, though, he gives away hugs to compensate for the fire he rains/reigns down regularly on this planet. Joey’s shoes can mostly be found in galleries and museums across the globe; the only pair we know of which are for sale are his legendary New Balance 574 “Insider Edition,” and only one pair of the titanium/gunmetal colourway were made. Those are available here, where you can also find some of his original artwork. Enjoy…
