Tonight in Chicago: “Deck of Kings”…
Awww jeah! In case you didn’t know, fast food giant Burger King has gotten in on the action of our subculture (not shocking anymore, I suppose), and they’ve opened up the Burger King Studio. While you can get artwork, T-shirts, and other goodies by well known artists there, the BK marketing team is also doing a series of art openings in different cities.
Here in Chicago, they’ve done two already, featuring custom installations, artwork, and T-shirts by members of our crew as well as friends and family of the Scumbag Nation. Tonight marks the third and final installment of BK Studio in Chicago, which will feature artwork and other really cool shit by the likes of our own Joey Potts, along with Lana Crooks, Eugene Good, and Joshua Davis. Handling the music are DJ Intel from our crew as well as the Rabid Vinyl Monks and our good friend DJ Zebo.
These events get seriously packed, so be sure to get there as early as you can. Freebies and amazing artwork abound, so don’t miss out before the BK Studio train leaves the Windy City station forever - or at least until next year.
See y’all there!
